LC4YF Volunteer, Ralph Rose with his mentee at an MN United game

“It has been easy,” says Ralph, one of LC4YF’s adult volunteers. “It’s a small amount of personal time that has had a positive influence on others.”

Despite common belief, volunteering doesn’t have to be a life altering commitment. Lakes Center for Youth & Families has volunteer positions that are crucial to our agency that consume as little as 1 hour per month! Hidden Heroes is a pen-pal program; you don’t even have to leave your house. Launch volunteers join us for 2 hours, 4 times a year. Mentors get to hang out with one youth for a couple hours a month- go out to eat, play sports, or take advantage of donated tickets to professional sports games, plays, and more! There is something for everyone!

Love the mission but aren’t sure if direct service is your thing? No problem! We have numerous indirect volunteer positions available. From mailings to committees, we need the extra hands!
